Launched in September 2008 by Rene Breitbarth, who is known for his releases on Labels like
Treibstoff, Sub Static and Dessous.
Inspired by Rene's DJ sessions with Toby Deschamps at Club der VisionÃ¤re,
Berlin, he gets the idea to create an own platform to preserve the Deep House vibe of those long
days and nights. Originally planned for digital releases only, Deep Data starts with Rene's own
tracks, resulting from the nerverending sets at the sympathic location at the Landwehrkanal.
Beatport is chosen for the distribution, later expanded by WhatPeoplePlay & Junodownload. A further enrichment happens in summer 2009 with additional output on vinyl, distributed by Berlin's Diamonds'n Pearls,
to top off the label's profile. The records include extra edits and remixes by known artists such as
Jay Tripwire and Falko Brocksieper, as well as the best tracks of the digital releases of course.
