- レーベル Italians Do It BetterがChromaticsの4枚目アルバムの詳細を発表。
Chromaticsが、新作アルバム『Kill for Love』をリリースする。
シアトルを拠点にするMike Simonetti主宰のレーベル、Italians Do It Betterから2007年に発売されたLP『Night Drive』は、Chromatics のフラグシップ的作品である。Mikeのレーベル独特のインディーディスコ・サウンド感を持った作品となっており、RAのレビューでも『一人歩きしたベースに、滑らかなシンセサイザーのバッドとギラギラとしながらも上質なピアノが混じり合う』と彼らのアルバムに触れていた。本アルバムは、ローファイ感を保ちながらも、ディスコヴァイブというよりインディーロックを意識した作品になっている。
本アルバムは来年1月に発売予定で、Chromaticsのメンバーも参加するバンドGlass Candy（Chromatics同様Italians Do It Better に所属）もまた、新作アルバム『Body Work』をリリース予定だ。こちらの詳細は近日公開予定となっている。
