True artists create a vision, articulate that vision and then passionately drive it to completion. Alfa Romero is the brand new label which the acclaimed duo of the same name will use as a vehicle in which to ride that shared vision. Exploring the landscape of electronic music with an equal measure of artistic freedom and burning passion, Alfa Romero’s journey will set off from directly under the disco ball.
Alfa Romero formed as a DJ / production outfit in 2006 and have since released on the likes of Ministry of Sound, Fabric, Freak n’ Chic, Seperfreq and Supernature. The project has grown organically over the years and now Tuscan artists Prudo and Lorenzo Bartoletti who are behind the driving seat, are expanding the Alfa Romero ethos with a new label of their own.
Merging the traditions of Italian dance music with modern flair, Alfa Romero will foster an individual and charismatic sound, showcasing a roster of electronic music’s leading components. Distinctly Italian in flavour, the label will deliver fresh club music with added style and charisma. Individually produced videos will accompany each release, every one displaying the many idiosyncrasies that make Alfa Romero the vibrant and original imprint they are. Keeping their approach clear and focused, each release will be made up of simply two tracks; one original and one remix. All crafted with the dancefloor in mind, Alfa Romero will well and truly posses the keys to drive the floor crazy.
