As a label Awkward Movements continues to evolve with help from our friends. We release on wax because that's what we play. There is no release schedule, there is no record designed for a certain market or a specific sound. We release music that we would buy ourselves, and play records that we're in to regardless of scenes and sub-genres. We want the music spread as wide as possible.
Awkward Movements Sessions and subsequently the blog and nights bring us together. We're fortunate to have attracted like minded peeps at the core of what we do, all of whom continue doing amazing shit on their own as well as with us. We're not trying to take over the world, it's just a bit more fun if we do it together.
