Toronto (Canada) based London Music has been pushing out quality tracks since it’s inception in 2005. It was actually one of the first labels to be “hand-picked” to release music on Beatport (now the undisputed hub and digital platform for electronic music). London has been a front-runner in the digital electronic music movement and has no plans of stopping anytime soon.
In late 2010 London was acquired by Anthony D’Amico, a Toronto (Canada) born native. By being a long time Dj/producer for over 15 years, it has indirectly molded his ear/tastes to bring London a new & unique sound. Anthony is also owner of the successful event brand called I/O Productions, which is dedicated to throwing quality electronic music events and reinforces his true passion for all things music. Everything he does brings about a high level of commitment and attention to detail, which ultimately creates a fresh vibe with unique perspectives/ideas. As such his philosophy has manifested itself in to a fresh new design and creative vision for London Music’s new journey.
This new vision has brought together a strong collective of local emerging artists, creating a unique take on the increasingly popular Toronto Tech-House sound. Also by infusing International talent to continue to push the sound of the label forward and bring it to the next level. With only a handful of releases under the newly re-imagined London Music label it has managed to gain the attention and early support from many of today’s tastemakers.
