JAMBALAY RECORDS est 2010. It's purpose is to create a movement in the house scene wich is inspirated by African cultures, by focusing on that jazzy,soulful deep tribal sound that permeates house and techno from the roots. The name itself is a manifesto, as long as JAMBALAYA is a dish from the south of U.S.A. which is composed by all kinds of vegetables,meat,fish,beans and corn. It is a very popular dish that brings a strong taste , coming from the African slave's kitchen,mixing with some elements from French and Spanish one. Also this means a blending of different cultures , a way to look at the past stepping into the future, in a mystical dimension.
