- Legend.
- There are few names that straddle the overground/underground divide quite as well as Carl Cox. It's this ability that's made him one of the biggest names in dance music, and one of its most respected stars. Being there from just about the beginning of this whole thing didn't hurt that much either. Juggling three decks at a time in those early days of hardcore and rave probably helped a bit too. But having a number of UK top 40 tracks to his name and being voted DJ Mag's first ever #1 jock in 1997, Cox has somehow kept his cred intact. And this year in Ibiza he's having one of his most successful years yet, all while celebrating the tenth year of his residency at Space. RA's Grego O'Halloran caught up with Cox on the White Isle last month.
