  • Some DJs are suddenly everywhere. Eric Cloutier's rise has been a slower burn, but it's making the payoff all that much sweeter. He came up in Detroit in the '90s, catching the likes of Richie Hawtin at the height of their powers. Looking to broaden his horizons, he landed in New York and soon became integral to The Bunker, the city's long-running and highly respected techno showcase. As a resident, he played alongside some of electronic music's best acts, and his DJ bookings became a hot commodity worldwide. A minted Berliner as of earlier this year, Cloutier dropped by our offices to look back at the road that landed him here and discuss this latest stage.
