Garden Party 2 of 3
Just as things are getting close to boiling point for the first of this year’s Garden Parties we thought we’d better let the cat out of the bag regarding the second one! Get ready, it’s a big cat and a big bag!
The second party sees dance music and club community giants RESIDENT ADVISOR hop on board to host the party with us. If you don’t know about RA and their website then where’ve you been, dead?! One of the world’s leaders when it comes to all things dance, RA have become synonymous with quality - pushing fantastic artists, parties and music from across the dance music spectrum on their rather impressive site and through some great events worldwide. Needless to say we’re more than a little chuffed to have them onboard!
On to the line ups:
CRAIG RICHARDS, since the early days at the Mint Club Craig has always been an important guest at Technique and later at the Asylum & Technique events. His integrity, thirst and innovation have stood out and proven just why he’s managed to make Room 1 at FABRIC his own. From the early days as TYRANT Craig has managed to continually evolve his sound without ever falling into any pigeon hole, it’s arguably this that’s ensured he’s always one of the most exciting DJs around. Whether it’s dub to disco or techno to electro you’re in for a treat as Craig makes his first Garden Party appearance!
2000 AND ONE’s name seems to have rocketed in the last few years but don’t be fooled he’s been around and releasing quality music for well over a decade now. Just as many of his Dutch peers have seen their profile rise lately 2000 AND ONE has gone skyward….with no signs of slowing up. As well as heading up his quality labels and touring extensively, in 2009 he managed to find time to release one of the biggest albums of the year so far. HERITAGE has been a firm favourite for the likes of RICARDO, LUCIANO, GARNIER and HAWTIN, basically it doesn’t get much bigger! A DJ that’s moved floors from Sonar to Secret Sundaze and Miami to Munich come see why he’s quite so in demand!
SIMON BAKER has not sat still for quite sometime now! As he continues to tour the world he still manages to maintain his release schedule dropping beats on quality labels such as Leeds own 20:20 Vision. Don’t miss the chance to catch him back on home turf for a bit of a *ahem* knees up!
In the cosy Gimp Room we see the Hang the DJ rascals take hold, spinning all that glistens and with Louche decking out the Conservatory as well as the residents in full effect we think this one’s a tad large!
