A year has past and what a spectacular year it has been for us. This year has seen the Project London brand grow enormously among you House, Minimal & Dub Techno Music revellers. And since its not just our B-Day but its also Halloween we must celebrate with no holds barred. We will be turning the already dark raw venue into a Darker, Spookier space fully decorated Halloween style so think giant Ghosts, Spiders, Witches, Skeletons & Pumpkins, Think Mist, Giant Projections & Visuals in-fact think all things that set the festive atmosphere. The Artists for this party speak volumes, Avatism who headlines this event produces one of the most exciting Live acts on todays circuit. He will be backed up by a local lad who's name that we are sure if you don't know already you will do by the beginning of 2013 his name is Brett Jacobs. Finally another up and coming artist this time in the form of Nu Zau from Romania, the country that is producing the best Dubby Techno sound of the moment.
Thomas did not buy his first vinyl record when he was 10 years old, nor was he born out of the love of two underground jazz musicians. Despite an extremely dull and standard childhood during which he barely learned to play the drums, his moody small-room music has been released on labels such as Vakant, Dumb-Unit and Haunt.
Much to everyone’s surprise, his recent releases, doom-laced live sets and collaborations have lead him to rise to similar popularity to many artists with more interesting biographies.
Born in East London 1987 and obsessed with music from an early age, it was not long before Brett started channelling his natural enthusiasm into a creative medium when receiving his first pair of turntables at the tender age of 11. The natural progression from bedroom to dance floor occurred at just 16 years of age when Brett took his unique sound and packaged it into his very own parties that took place across numerous establishments in and around London.
After many years in the booth, DJing has seen Brett take on countless dance floors to date. Well-travelled, he has played across the globe from his hometown of London, across the UK and on to Portugal, Ibiza, Latvia, Australia, amongst many others.
Come 2008 and an already vastly experienced DJ, with an uncannily attuned ear to the dance music scene, he picked up his first music production software package in the form of Logic Pro. Finding his feet, Brett spent many hours learning the finer intricacies of digital music production via the many self –learning sources available and online music production courses. Never one to be content, and with passion still running deep within his veins, Brett decided in early 2011 to undertake sound engineering studies at the Islington Music Workshop in london in which he achieved beneficial results.
With each day passing, Brett is becoming more and more the accomplished producer. His distinct deep and dubby tech house sound is already catching the ears of some of the industries biggest names such as DJ Sneak, Tini (desolat), Yaya (desolat), Paco Osuna, Chris Lattner (moon harbour) and Enzo Siragusa (Fuse) and the future is beginning to look very promising for this talented young individual.
2012 sees Brett spending a lot of time in the studio focused on developing his sound and further expanding his ever building reputation on the House scene. With his debut EP ‘Beat Parade’ set for release on Luna records in july 2012 as well as planned releases for the Fuse London imprint, he is well on track to fulfilling his vast potential…
Born in a "undeground" hood in Bucharest and growing up being influenced by the early romanian hip-hop culture, you can feel the oldschool vibe pulsing through his sound. Already a well known figure on the Romanian scene, he's played alongside names such as Public Lover, Cezar, Dan Andrei in clubs like Studio Martin, Zebra and Daimon. In addition to appearing consistently on the local scene, his hard work and dedication also drove him outside Romania's borders. Currently foccusing most of his attention on creating beats and rhythms...
