After two impressive editions in 2011, Strictly Techno starts the new year in style with another edition of ruthless, deep and driving 'rattling in your face' techno. Strictly Techno has found her place in Perron, Rotterdam's toughest club at the moment. Perron is techno, Perron is a big load of concrete, a stomping Funktion One sound system and the raw underground atmosphere, which characterizes the Strictly Techno nights for sixteen years already.
This third edition they present none other than Radial aka Jeroen Liebregts. Everybody who's familiar with his productions, knows that this man's sets guarantees a good dose of dancefloor-debilitating quality techno with a raw edge, upholding the tradition of Audio Assault, the label that he and Bas Mooy run since 2002. His releases on labels such as Token, Numb, Dole Gate and Planet Rhythm are regularly played in sets of industry peers such as Luke Slater, Oscar Mulero and Adam Beyer.
Over the years Audio Assault frontman Bas Mooy has found his own unique dark sound, both on the dance floor and in the studio. With releases on leading labels such as Planet Rhythm, his own imprint Audio Assault and upcoming releases on Luke Slater's Mote Evolver and Perc Trax, he has build a huge fan base at home and abroad. Strictly Techno founder Perry aka Flink showed the previous editions that he is back with a vengeance. He closed the last edition in style and will continue to do so this edition.
Patriarch Conflicts is a project of Justin Patti and Rachid Prins, both part of Rotterdam Ondergronds Talent. Those who know their solo appearances know that the combination will blow fireworks out the speakers. The opening of the night is in the hands of Forkowski, who was a guest at Strictly Techno several years ago at Waterfront. Expect a subtle opening of a night that will take you on a rumbling train through techno-land.
Next edition: Friday, March 9, Strictly Techno XL, with a BIG headliner! More info soon!
