The decorations are going up, the lights have been switched on and the reindeer are in full training…Christmas, in case you hadn’t noticed, is definitely on its way!
So, as another year draws to a close it’s time to take stock and try to remember where it’s all gone! Dumb¦Found¦Sound has gone from strength to strength in 2010, bringing you stand out performances from cutting edge artists like Peter van Hoesen, Adam Marshall, Kate Simko, Perc and Okain and we’ve been fortunate to rock some of the finest sound systems this fair city has to offer. All of this was achieved with a fair amount of hard work from us and, just as importantly, a great deal of support from you.
So it’s time to say a big thank you and end the year in the only way we know how… by donning the Santa outfits to bring you one present you won’t want to take back – the return of our free day party… Dumb¦Blonde.
After the success of Dumb¦Found:12, where our guest Okain pleased the ears, and it seems the eyes, of many of our guests we’re delighted to be returning to Nomad on Saturday November 27th for the second installment of Dumb¦Blonde.
From 12pm to 8pm we’ll be pulling out our favourite tunes of 2010, as well as a few old favourites, to make your body move, the dance floor shake and to get you in the Christmas spirit.
At the controls will be the full compliment of Dumb¦Found residents so expect the usual mix of bumping tech house and driving techno from Phiorio, Andrea Kalenda, jan, kudaku and hub. As if that wasn’t enough to fill your stocking to the brim we’ll also be welcoming back Audio Dependent who will be playing a special live set for us.
So grab a wig and come and join us for a proper wig out session and a great way to start the festive celebrations
