Djrum b2b Bruce (All Night Long)
Djrum has firmly cemented himself as one of the artists of the generation with such an intuitive take on contemporary dance music encompassing orchestral sounds, heavy textures & complex breaks. Since his first release back in 10', Djrum nailed the early 2010's post-dubstep sound with his own atmospheric take on moody bass led sounds. Felix often went slightly under the radar despite countless releases via 2nd drop Records and was perhaps still under appreciated until his slightly more techno-led A-side on Ilian Tape in '16 with Struction. His album 'Portait in Firewood' on R&S turned everybody's head with what turned out to be one of the releases of the year and finally gave him the global recognition he deserved.
His DJing follows suit, with a huge scope of sounds, speeds & genres all done in a highly technical way. Add that to his approach of reviving old school turntablism with his scratching skills and turntable chops, he is up there with the best of selectors.
Joining Djrum all night long, will be Larry Mcarthy aka Bruce.
Everyone's favourite party starter and all round hero, we are over the moon to be bringing Larry back down again to Brighton. Larry came on to the scene with his first release on the illustrious Hessle Audio imprint back in '14, since then he has become a close affilate of Timedance with also releases out on Hemlock Recordings & Idle Hands. He became only the 3rd ever artist to release an album on Hessle Audio in '18 with 'Sonder Somatic', which was pretty groundbreaking. He also holds down an excellent monthly show on Noods Radio where you truly see his unique take on UK Dance music mixed with daft humour.
As well as the production side, Larry is also an accomplished DJ with an unpredictable selection which has seen play all over
the world at institutes like Dekmantel & Panorama Bar. He's firmly put himself up there with the most complete Producer/DJs.
Two of the best in the business having it out all night long from start to close, we can't wait.
Tickets from RA & DICE.
