It’s pleasure to be welcoming the other-worldly sounds of techno luminary Jeff Mills for a long-awaited return to fabric this September. The Detroit pioneer will be joined in RM1 by Houndstooth’s Anastasia Kristensen, and boundary-pushing residents Tapefeed.
Meanwhile in RM2, techno heavy-hitter and fabric resident IMOGEN is taking her new label and party Wigs to Farringdon for its very first outing. Set to play is the ever-proficient Thomas P. Heckmann and Berlin rising star Marie Montexier making her London debut. She’s also recruited the raw rave energy of Umwelt, with the two of them closing the night with a b2b set in what’s bound to be an unmissable first party for Wigs.
The label itself was announced in June with free tracks from Matrixxman, Umwelt, Riot Code and more over at wi-gs.com. Wigs promises some anticipated future initiatives, aiming to become a dynamic creative community space. We’re fully excited to host its inaugural knees-up.
