EMC, Lazydaze and the Australian National Maritime Museum are excited to present ‘Audamus’ – an exclusive alfresco event hosted on the HMAS Vampire. One of the first all-welded ships built in Australia, HMAS Vampire was constructed at Cockatoo Island Dockyard in the 1950s and today features as a permanent exhibition at the Maritime Museum. The name Audamus comes from the ship’s motto (Latin meaning: ‘Let us be daring’).
A unique sound and culinary experience, Audamus will be held on the helicopter landing pad of the HMAS Vampire set against a stunning Barangaroo backdrop. The relaxed and intimate heli-pad picnic juxtaposes the naval setting. A line-up of well-loved NSW artists will perform live DJ sets accompanied by the food and drinks specially curated by George Woodyard of boutique Sydney restaurant BART Jr. Ticket price includes entertainment, sunset arrival drink and a gourmet picnic including food and two paired natural wines.
