About Point Of No Return
Far before the new global reality of COVID-19, musicians, artists, and their corresponding communities faced widespread precarity, inequality and discrimination. Beyond the Point Of No Return the future is uncertain, and there is a necessity for new and more equitable structures, safety-nets, and expanded access. Our programme consists of workshops, seminars, panels, and performances which will address the following questions: Who needs support? Which communities are disproportionately disadvantaged by a crisis? How do we make sure there are music spaces to come back to?
Our festival will be spread out over a week, to allow time and space for audiences to experience our programme in spite of restrictions. All in-person gatherings will abide by necessary health and safety measures. More information about our digital programming will be published shortly.
Tickets and Donations: You can purchase early-bird tickets for our limited capacity in-person events and digital programme on Universe. There are only 50 in-person tickets available per time slot for the conference and festival. Our digital supporter tickets remain available on a pay-what-you-want basis.
We operate with a fully freelance team of artists and organisers whose creative energy is essential to this project. Many of our team members and the artists we work with are in situations of precarity and our goal is to continue to support them as normal. You can contribute here: universe.com/dice2020
