Waterworks is a London day festival created to provide a platform for showcasing and celebrating the diversity and talent in London’s electronic music scene on a beautiful site where industrial London meets nature.
In the wonderful melting pot of sound and culture that is London’s music scene, Waterworks have spotted a gap, a need for an outdoor summer platform that both gives life to emerging artists and allows more established acts from the diverse electronic scene to flourish, hand-picked primarily from the UK’s diverse pool, it’s a blend of the stylish originators and the radically unseasoned.
The curation of the electronic program focuses on the different flavours, strands and genres of dance music that have come to shape the musical landscape in the UK.
The festival is located in a beautiful secluded parkland area of West London, surrounded by industrial cues that make the backdrop unbelievably striking. With little pockets of woodland and open space, our site will sprawl out blending seamlessly with the beautiful backdrop.
Waterworks Festival is a collaboration produced by the creative teams behind Percolate and Team Love.
Team Waterworks are acutely aware that festivals can be a source of waste. Thus we are working to minimise the environmental footprint of our event. Additionally we will be adding a mandatory £1 donation from each ticket to go towards assisting us in offsetting our environmental impact. This money will go to local organisations that work in the area to look after our beautiful surroundings.
