Feÿ invites for its second edition a cutting edge selection of pioneer DJs from the underground house and techno scenes, who will play alongside emerging talents from the Paris and Berlin scenes. Huerco S., PLO Man and Central will be headlining this multidisciplinary event which will take place on 20-22 September in the eerie and intimate Château du Feÿ, in Burgundy.
The DJ scene will add to the contemporary art, cinema, concerts, performance art, talks and gastronomy which made the success of the first edition last year.
Selectors will play during the day at the bottom of 400-year old pyramid oaks. Danse-Toujours, Mykonos and Rahim from the hedonistic Parisian crew Bruits de la Passion will share the stage with Hadj Sameer, endurance digger of raï, afro and West Indies sounds, and Stella Zekri, who will come from Berlin for a long set centered around old school hip hop, disco, funk and house.
Club-oriented DJs will dominate the programming in the evenings, taking over a tent designed by the architects of Almost Studio. Huerco S., figurehead of the American ambient house scene, will headline alongside the enigmatic PLO Man, who will play a 4h set on Saturday night. Central, the kingpin of Danish labels Regelbau, Help Recordings and No Hands, will hold the decks for a chiseled set of house and techno. They will be supported by DJ Fart in the Club, Nathan Melja, Tarrou and Cerulean.
The dancefloor will turn into an ambient space in the late hours of the night. Kohwi and Tarrou will weave oniric sound webs, while mysterious and prolific producer uon will spread smudgy synth pads until dawn.
Feÿ will also offer live acts exploring the emotional and experimental edges of pop, including Antoine Kogut, Maoupa Mazzocchetti x Mika Oki, Arne Vinson, Itaca, Buvette, and Walls & Birds. The programming will include in total more than 50 names in other disciplines. More information early bird tickets available until 15 July at http://fey-arts.com and on FB
